Re: NFL 2020
This is the NFL 2020 thread. Stop talking about Brady Pats, 72 fins and 85 Bears. I wanna know what team is the most woke. Records don;t mean shit. It's all about whose felon name you have on the back of your helmet.
6 teams didn't even come out of the locker room for the anthem. Is that the next super-woke step, or trying to stay out of it by not committing to standing or kneeling?
I hope ratings go down 15% across the board. I only tuned in for part of 2 afternoon games. Skipped the SNF game altogether. I will be skipping the MNF games as well. I don't think I'll be able to 100% cut the NFL cord, but I will cut down significantly on my viewing. I already retired from fantasy football. The wokeness of 2020 guarantees I will never come back to that.

Good Points
I know the Dolphins decided as a team to not come out of the locker room, stating essentially, that all this stuff of virtue signalling and wouldn't change anything. So, they probably aren't the most woke.
I'd say right now, it's Gotta be Washington formerly known as Redskins. They nuked their name, can you get woker than that ?
I think TE Tyler Eifert with the Jags had David Dorn, the retired cop killed by BLM on his helmet, so they are out of the running.
I'm willing to hear moar.
Ratings down 30%, 10 year low.
Thank you Kaepernick

85 Bears outscored opponents by the most ever. Not even close. They lost 1 game, because Ditka and the DC were fist-fighting at halftime.C-Mag wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 11:01 am'72 Dolphins Greatest team ever............. Bar NONE
Culminating in a Super Bowl score of 46-10 against the Patriots.
There has never been a greater ass whipping in the history of sport.

Nah, 85 Bears couldn't even beat the Miami Dolphins who didn't have a defense that year.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 12:30 pm85 Bears outscored opponents by the most ever. Not even close. They lost 1 game, because Ditka and the DC were fist-fighting at halftime.

The 72 Dolphins led the league in almost every category. Due to the alternating playoff scheme back then, they even had to go on the road in the playoffs, and won. Lost their starting QB in like week 2, didn't get him back until the 2nd game of the playoffs. Bears were great, but come up short.

There's never been anything close to that.
Dude. They won every game by an average of 18 points.1. 1985 Bears (won Super Bowl XX):Pure dominance. Their 15 regular-season wins came by an average of 18.1 points. The defense collected 64 sacks while allowing just 12.4 points a week. Chicago shut out the Giants and Rams in the NFC playoffs before that epic 46-10 Super Bowl dismantling of New England. All told, the Bears outscored their postseason opponents 91-10.

Haha
My old team (Steelers) did that “not come out for the Anthem” BS back in 2016. I’m not watching at all this year or from here on out. However I did see an article that said ratings were down 28% but that was not including the west coast so after those numbers are in I bet it’s down 12% from last year. Anything over 20 would be awesome at this point.

Re: NFL 2020
They were a great team, as good as any other team with one or two losses during a season, but only one team went undefeated. Moreover, they were a one hit wonder. Great for a season. No staying power.SuburbanFarmer wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 12:53 pmhttps://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/n ... 886459001/
