I've done a little looking into IQ and race. It's not a pretty picture.

There's no question that genetics affect the average IQ of a population base - the issue is, by how much. If 95% of the gap is caused by environmental issues, then is it possible to close the gap enough so that Africa is somewhat civilized?

There was an article in the Atlantic (I think) a while back warning that the results of this type of research were important but that they would not be received well.

I disagree. Genetic IQ is basically starting potential. In the case of Africa, you have slightly less potential and a radioactive environment - no wonder its a shithole. The question is, how unshitty can it become?
