That pile of garbage statement has also been my experience with government employees at the American version of the NHS (VA hospitals). Even when they are killing people, it is always they who are the victims.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if they are trying to monetize killing this child, and money is the reason for not letting him flee to safety.

I assume he can "flee" if someone else is willing to pay for it. Maybe you?

No, countless people here have made offers, UK will not let them leave. The parents aren't the parents anymore this kid is in full custody of the crown.

The Pope has a jet on standby and the Italian hospital is willing to cover the health expenses.

The British government decided it would rather kill him than let him go to a different country to seek treatment.
