You should at least let him know that you feel like he's taking advantage of you. Tell him he can wet his beak but you won't be fucked with.
You say 5k amonth but I only see 900 that you claimed. I would want to see exactly what's going on. 900 is nothing at that level
My boss, the owner of the company, is a jew and he doesn't even give me a hard time about some customers that I let slide on charges in the hope that I get a better tip. I pull in 2k a day gross for him though. He's not going to give me a hard time about a few 20 dollar boxes

He admitted purchases were illegitimate to HR. He said he mistook company credit card for his.TheReal_ND wrote:I thought about it a little in the shower and it may be there are some crossed lines here, vik.Martin Hash wrote:Wow. First, don’t try and predict the future or read people’s minds. This guy makes big bucks for you and $5K is mousenuts. You need a heart-to-heart. Ask him what the fuck he’s thinking, and what did he think was going to happen? Ask him what he thinks you should do? Fear would work here.
$1 million/year excuses a lot of hookers & blow.
I'm quoting hash because that's kind of what I was thinking. You said yourself the credit card can be used for clients, well, a resort? Are you sure he's not hobnobbing clients. Macy's? Is he trying to look good? The spending may not be directly client related but maybe it is indirectly a bit, and maybe he's treating himself and his wife (shes got to look good for the clients as well after all.)
When you confronted him maybe he didn't know how to say it but he may not feel like it's technically stealing. Just a little grease. So he lied about switching credit cards by accident.
I bought it the first time, not now.

What's the mission? When in doubt, go back to the mission, is the mission to have squeaky clean employees who never bend the rules, or is the mission to make fucktons of money and retire to the West Indies? Mission will tell you what to do.

Oh the mission is all money. You and I see eye to eye on that. I don’t care how they make it if they don’t break the law.Smitty-48 wrote:What's the mission? However if I think my platoon sergeant is prone to fucking my soldiers wives, I will fire him. He may have an MoH and be a brave man, but it’s only a matter of time before his indescretions create a situation talent and bravery can’t solve.
Analogy make sense?

Fire him in garrison, you don't fire him in the field in a TIC.Viktorthepirate wrote:Oh the mission is all money. You and I see eye to eye on that. I feel real tempted to look at it that way though. I mean it’s peanuts compared to what he makes right?
But he could hurt us real bad if he was unethical... I can’t trust him anymore.

That's what I mean by civvy side, business, there is no garrison, you're in a TIC at all times.

Dude, life isn’t TV. He’s your man, keep him but clear the air. He’s even worth bailing out a couple times on DUIs.
I have experience in these matters. My goodness you should hear Jason’s life story; he’s a Three-Striker yet one of the most valuable guys I have. And James has been in-n-out of the slammer a few times, once in Mexico. Life is more complex than what you’re taught in Sunday School.
