If this is a privilege, you can fucking have it.C-Mag wrote:The Conservative wrote:I pay for health insurance, before ObamaCare when I had a surgery it was covered... I didn't see a bill. After my knee surgery two weeks ago, I get a bill in the mail for $1,800. That is what Health Insurance didn't cover. WTF!? On top of that, I got a $1500 bill yesterday for my wife's ambulance ride...
Please remind me when ObamaCare was enacted, how we were supposed to be able to not only keep our doctors, but insurance costs were to go down, and we would be paying less for everything?
I pay $400 a month for health insurance... I shouldn't have to pay shit out of pocket. (family plan)
Quit your fucking whining TC, you are White and Privileged. You need to suck this shit up so illegal foreigners can be covered in the US for free and we can force Nuns to preach Abortion. Shut your fucking pie hole and get with the program.

I work some lowly job at a grocery store here in Washington State. As far as I'm reading it, my health insurance is 20/80 with a deductible of 100 person/300 family and a limit on the 20/80 of 1,100 per person/1,300 family. No annual limit on what the plan pays. Never had health insurance before 3 months ago so I don't know the in's and outs of this, and I could be wrong on some things.
I pay $60 a month.
The out of pocket limit does not include (as I'm looking over the paperwork):
Premiums, prescription, dental, vision, non-covered services, balance-billed charges, amounts above allowed amount, penalties for failure to obtain pre-authorization.
There's probably a catch somewhere.

Could be a subsidy in there somewhere, how would I find it? I make less than 20k a year.
Is it good insurance? (I'm not being facetious, genuinely want to know).

I don't know how the subsidy works for employer plans or perhaps your employer is paying it. Jesus, they must be shoveling out $500/mo if you're single and young. If you're married, it'd be more like $1000/mo.jediuser598 wrote:MediImpact, Bluecross, and Delta Dental.Martin Hash wrote:You must have Obamacare subsidy in there somewhere.jediuser598 wrote:I work some lowly job at a grocery store here in Washington State. Universal healthcare for the 6'2" and up (and well-built) is a fundamental human right.
