Re: A Graceless coup
So, he is saying he will attend the party congress next month as President. Parliament has threatened to start impeachment procedures if he has not stepped down by midday tomorrow.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

I am just so glad the place is de-colonized. Imagine how much worse life would be for those people if it were still Rhodesia.

No that was from his earlier speech. I think he is just trying to leave under his own terms. I think the party congess is 15th December. Impeachment proceedures even if successful are unlikely to be completed by then. Without the support of the party, which kicked him out, he is not going to have any real power in the meantime. Expect more public protests.Nukedog wrote:It's two in the morning over there. Is he high?

No, I think it's hilarious that we decolonized the place and it turned into exactly the kind of shit show one would expect.
Maybe they can be our next round of peaceful and vibrant "refugees"!

You think collapse of society is hilarious? You think starvation, massive corruption and electoral fraud is funny?
Life was shit for the majority indiginous population when they were run by colonists. Their land was stolen and they had no rights. A warlord won the civil war which followed UDI and proceeded to steal the wealth and destroy the economy. Do you think that is the fault of the average Zimbabwean?
Nobody gave them independance. they rose up and took it then a corrupt leader killed his opposition and became a dictator. None of that is the fault of the average Zimbabwean.

He is obviously getting stitches right now because of the bout of laughter brought on by the idea of mass suffering.

I think life has returned to the way they lived it before whites ever showed up there. What's hilarious to me is not their suffering because Africans are obviously incapable of getting their shit together but people like you pulling your chest hairs out over a disaster you largely made possible through decolonization.
When whites took over and industrialized the place, you got upset because the blacks were not treated as equals. Okay. We took all the political power away from whites. Whites were mostly exterminated after that by the way, and I don't remember many lefties getting upset about that. Now the blacks are eating each other, or about three cunt hairs away from it, and now you are mad about that.
Dude, this is Africa. Did you fucking think it would become the African version of Bristol?
