Yep, there's the true mark of intelligence. Absolute Good vs. Evil thinking - that's what we need more of. There are no shades of gray, only traitors to the cause, amirite?clubgop wrote:I'll put you down as a dishonest hack bitch. Binary terms is all politics is. You do or you don't. We should outlaw gasoline and just have goods transported by sailboats and bicycles, which will leave a lower carbon footprint. Also we need to stop using vaccines and modern medicine because the power bill for keeping that stuff refrigerated at the hospital burns an obscene amount of fossil fuel. People need to make do with less. The internet can still be around, but it can only be used for work purposes. None of this will affect me, because I don't waste time online and only post productive, problem solving ideas.

Candles produce smoke which is really bad for the atmosphere. Everything just needs to be done in the day time where the sun acts as a light source. The trouble is, the sun is also largely contributing to the warming of the Earth and it atmosphere, so that might need to be banned as well. Its going to take awhile to fix all these kinks, but once it happens we will be a totally green society.Speaker to Animals wrote:heydaralon wrote:We should outlaw gasoline and just have goods transported by sailboats and bicycles, which will leave a lower carbon footprint. Mass hysteria is taking over this place.
I love it.

Yeah, crap like that. Same shit is happening with GFCI outlets, the new regs call for ones so hyper sensitive they are almost unusable. People are bypassing them.California wrote: So many times regulations intended to make people more safe end up creating more danger. I'll use my new home's smoke detectors as an example.
The new regulations have made the alarms so sensitive that it is nearly impossible to cook. Rather than deal with them going off every time I cast-iron a steak, I ended up removing the batteries from the ones on the floor with the kitchen and shutting off the breaker in the garage. That was the only way to defeat these ones. That means that the rest of the detectors in my house are now operating on battery-only and I've had to defeat 30% of my defense just to be able to cook

Source please. Ethanol is a fucking scam, and I've said so since the beginning.
