But concerned parents at home began to post worried message on the festival’s Facebook page on Sunday night after reports of early arrivers being asked to move their tents due to lack of space and safety regulations.

The parental messages were met with both reassurance and ridicule.
On Monday, social media users began to give the festival five star ratings on Facebook to counteract what they saw as oversensitive criticism from parents.
"Curling parents" are our term for helicopter parents. Fortunately we're not (yet...?) at the stage where society at large tolerate helicopter parenting.

That response and the widespread mocking of those overprotective parents.... made me a little proud of my countrymen.
They were there as guests, as tourists. Aside from that, those Europeans who are most likely to believe that the Holocaust is a Zionist myth are also Arabs, so it's a good thing for that school to confront them with the reality.
Not in any way, ND. Behaving just marginally civilized isn't "gay". Being proud of your own culture, wanting to preserve it, does not warrant spitting and screaming in the faces of foreign tourists. That's just pathetic and gives off the impression that you think your culture is so weak that it cannot even survive a tiny group of Muslim tourists.
