He got what he deserved.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Have you ever read High Rise by JG Ballard? For some reason this london fire made me think of the book. You would probably like it, as it has elements of scifi apocalypism, and generally weirdness in it. Don't watch the movie as it sucks. Its basically about these people who live in a high rise somewhere in the UK with different social classes living on different floors. They started fighting each other, marking territories, conducting raids and murders, and revert back to a primal version of society, all while the outside world remains the same. This book would probably be right up your alley.

A really fucked up non-terrorism related structural failure happened at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Kansas city during 1981. The walkways above collapsed on a social event below. Its amazing that more people don't know about this event. Over 100 people died and 200 injured. It was extra shocking because generally these kinds of structural catastrophes do not happen in Western countries because we have engineering standards and use quality materials. This london high rise fire has 30 dead so far, so it could have been worse but thats still fucked. Do the authorities think it was arson?

If it turned out to be arson by another jihadi, would all the protesters go home so as not to get arrested for racism?
Maybe the government should just frame a Muslim guy to disperse the crowd.

According to witnesses the fire brigade turned out to a fridge fire. The fire in the flat was extinguished but the fridge was next to a window and spread the fire to the outside of the building.Speaker to Animals wrote:If it turned out to be arson by another jihadi, would all the protesters go home so as not to get arrested for racism?

Yeah, if only they could tie it to Muslims, they could preempt all this protesting and demands the government be held accountable..

Well here's hoping. Maybe the building inspector's cousin converted to Islam? Whatever helps you, man.Speaker to Animals wrote:Yeah, if only they could tie it to Muslims, they could preempt all this protesting and demands the government be held accountable..

I can't, guys. I'm sorry, I can't combat this level of idiocy. Have at it.Speaker to Animals wrote:No. They are at war with ISIS, who's people have been running them down in the streets, shooting them, stabbing them, bombing them, and even mass raping them..GrumpyCatFace wrote:Oh right, sorry. There's open warfare in the streets of London. Forgot the narrative for a second.Speaker to Animals wrote:It was not street crime. They are at war with ISIS, genius.
But the projects didn't do enough to stop a random building fire. Let's get all angry over that instead!
