I think the Russians thought Clinton was going to win, and they were laying the groundwork, trying to weaken her preemptively, just a general campaign of playing spoiler against an expected Clinton Administration, I think they were stunned that Trump won, because I think the Russians were getting their information from the media too.

I don't think the Russians know what's going on on the ground, I think they watch CNN.

I'm trying to figure out her Timeline.

So we know held a Top Secret Security Clearance since 2013, was an Air Force Linguist - Farsi, Pashto, etc

She went to work as an NSA Contractor in February, days after the Trump Inauguration and within 90 days is committing espionage.

The pieces are still coming together, but this doesn't look good. If she hated Trump so much, and she did, why go to work for the Trump Government ?

I see no geopolitical advantage to the Russians here, if anything, America has doubled down against Russia, their "friend" Trump just yelled at NATO to double their military budgets, Washington is running a full on Russian Red Scare, and Montenegro just became the 29th member of NATO at a ceremomy in the White House.

If this was a Russian operation, seems to be backfiring on them.
