Canada is even multicultural in their terror attacks. Way to go, guys. Diversity is your strength!

Suspect is lone shooter, Alexandre Bissonette, 27, Quebecois, described by acqaintances as "unpopular nerd", "very right wing", "very pro-Israel", "anti-immigration", also former Royal Canadian Army Cadet.

I saw his facebook page earlier. He was all over the place. I am sure the media will pick and choose all the right wing stuff, and then ignore all the progressive stuff. He is kind of crazy. It's a bunch of conflicting likes, honestly. If it's still up, you can look at it for yourself.

So that's official now is it? I refrained from stating that when I brought up his name earlier for fear of just adding to the mindless speculation. There were also reports that his social media output was full of praise for Le Pen's Front National and Trump's immigration policies.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Profiles towards the Quebec Nationalist side of things, so Right Wing in most areas, but generally socialist on economic issues, the Right in Quebec is not like the Right in the rest of Canada.

The Right in Quebec is national socialist, small "n", small "s".

Bear in mind also, there are two Quebec's within Quebec, there is cosmopolitan and Federalist Montreal, and then there is the rest, the rest being predominately ethno-nationalist/sovereignist, where this guy is from, is the heartland of Quebecois Uber Alles, and reactionary to Islamic immigration, not just on the Right, but also on the Left.

That's interesting. Next thing I would want to know is what kind of drugs he was on, if any. Was he on SSRI's like many school shooters?

"pro-Israel" really throws me off as a descriptor too
