There's no connection between tax cuts & the economy. Tax cuts are exactly the opposite of a Debit Economy. Tax cuts only enrich the aristocracy.

Deficit spending also inordinately benefits the 1%, so Trump's entire plan is to make the aristocracy richer. Raising-Tide-Lifts-All-Ships meets Trickle-Down-Economics.

Sure, but it seems like you get to do one or t'other... not both. Trickle-down Keynesianism seems about as magic unicorn-y as anything on offer.

And it rests on the establishment Republican budget thinking that Trump's election was supposed to repudiate. I guess he is just so freaking meta that he is running a deep smoke and mirrors game that a pleb like me could never hope to understand.

You may not believe this but no economists agree with my interpretation of how money works. No, really, they can't even hear me when I talk because they're so fucking intelligent. Apparently Trump is intelligent enough to understand them because he sounds like Russ Roberts, who is my favorite economist. However, should it turn out that just because there's a consensus doesn't make fact, I'm always here for them to ask questions.
