Cities are Zoos
Cities cage their animals and give them the illusion of living in a free environment. Zoos are smelly, noisy and confining. The cages rely solely on the Zoo Wardens for subsistence and entertainment. The Wardens feed them well, on a regular rotation, animals in the Zoo have little worry of starving or having to expend great energy for subsistence. Zoos are fun to visit, but you'd be crazy to want to live in a Zoo.

Well we do live around animals all day, I mean we let some of them loose and they do try to kill us any chance we get... so sometimes we need to keep those cages locked, but meh...
