That's called a specific to general fallacy, you asserted a generational paradigm, generationally, the Boomers were neither the inventors nor the dispersers of the PC and Internet, now you're collapsing down from generational scale, into an anecdotal/micro scale.

Who invented the PC? Microsoft? No. Who bought Microsoft and dispersed the products to the office? Boomers? No. Who brought Microsoft home and used it in their rooms to do their homework and play games? Boomers? No. Who was the first to adapt to the internet? Boomers? No.

The media pretending that because he was talking about illegal immigration from Mexico at the time that he must be hateful towards Mexicans by saying such a thing, instead of just the illegal immigrants who bring drugs and crime, like he specifically said is not justifiable demonzation. That is not a natural leap, that is deliberate media slander.
If it's media slander, it's very typical media slander.

What is evident here is that Trump chose an "over-the-top" style in addressing these issues to gain the incentive and to be the focus of the political discourse from the other GOP candidates. Just like with the "total ban on Muslims" and the "Great Wall", to start with talking about "increases in border control" wouldn't have caught the attention of anybody. Would be boring normal politician talk. Trump just wouldn't have been the Trump, if he would have started with "extreme vetting" or the things. Outrageousness got him the limelight. But naturallly that also gets negative publicity.

I don't think Trump isn't a racist and surely he isn't an ideologue. That's why he no Hitler. Just the American version of Berlusconi, which one has to say was one of the most long serving Prime Ministers of Italy, so no bad politician.

I mean let's just look at what he has done. Now, did this actually happen?

Did it? Anybody remember this spoof?

Not the way it has gone yet...
Trump has far more upside than Berlusconi could ever dream of. Otherwise it's a decent comparison. You make a great point about being outrageous grabbing the initiative and concentrating the spotlight on himself, it's a point that I often make around these parts to those who think Trump is crazy for being so outrageous, to show there is a method to his "madness".

The Boomers were using pcs at work, not to play. My whole life changed because I learned DOS at a time when not many people in offices could work with pcs or early networks. It opened doors that would have otherwise have been closed to me, and it happened before I met my husband in 1984.
The Boomers were not running the office 1977-1982, the oldest of them were in their early thirties, they weren't running shit at the point, so they didn't disperse those computers to the office, that was also GG's/War Babies. Your claim was not that Boomers went to work and found that somebody had put a computer on their desk, your claim was "Invented", then "dispersed", both claims have been corrected for you as being wrong, and yet you persist in ankle biting with "but, but, some Boomers used a computer at work", which was never your original claim(s), goalpost shifted wildly at this point, bad faith.
The businesses I worked in were owned by boomers. And you are still acting like Microsoft didn't exist.

Where is Hash? This is his business and he's around during my age. He should arbitrate if he is willing to do so.

If Hash comes in and starts asserting a specific to general fallacy that somehow the Boomers, genertionally, were the inventors and dispersers of the PC and Internet, that simply makes Hash wrong as well, any reasonable person would concede that the Boomers, generationally, were the passengers, not the inventors, nor the drivers of the PC Internet Revolution. To wit; Bill Gates didn't invent it, and Bill Gates does not a generation make.

If you wish to report that
Why would I want to do that, feafull?

Besides, it's just telling that when answering to a question "Why would people think x of Trump", you obviously think "I believe as they in x of Trump" and then start a rant. It wasn't a question of what I think, but what Trump-haters think.

But since when one has to actually respond here to things that people write?

TPP - see ya, yur history

WASHINGTON -- Soon after President Donald Trump was sworn in, his administration announced the U.S. withdrawal from the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a trade pact championed by former President Barack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
The White House on Friday also wasted no time in declaring a renegotiation of the North Atlantic Free Trade Agreement, or NAFTA. Trump is expected to take a more isolationist, protectionist stance, and the international community is concerned that the U.S. will continue to draw inward.

Yes, Beijing applauds Donald Trump doing their dirty work for them, in jettisoning an agreement designed to box the Chinese out, thus allowing the Chinese to dominate trade in the Pac-Rim now with their FTAAP alternative.
