Nah. Nerd is from Kansas, so we visit approximately yearly. The best part of Kansas is that dressing up to go out means putting on clean sweat pants.GrumpyCatFace wrote:

Kansas is the worst state I’ve ever had the misfortune to inhabit, and I lived in Michigan for six years.
Not to mention Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, New Mexico, Arizona, Kentucky, and Washington.
Kansas sucks.
Visiting Nebraska was even more uplifting than staying in Kansas, and it’s almost the same damn place. There’s just an extra helping of “ick” on Kansas.

The worst part about driving across Kansas is passing the exact same town over and over and over until you finally reach Colorado.

It's the same small town you drive through about thirty times for about 200 miles.
Also, their state police are massive cunts who will literally ticket any driver with out of state tags for doing even 1 mph over the speed limit because they know you won't drive back to their broken urinal of a state to contest it.
My solid advice: either take the Nebraska route or use I-10. Keep Kansas as a hard pass if at all possible. If anybody deserves to get nuked right now it's fucking Kansas. Kansas and various locations in Canada.

I mean, you could literally evaporate Kansas in a nuclear hellstorm and Oprah would bring you on as an honored Guest. Nobody would mind.

How much did the state of Kansas have to pony up to get Wilt in 1955?
Not just in USD, how many white girls and how many pounds of weed?

Eating out in Kansas = clean sweatpants. Sums up what a lot of people think of the state. Other than just nothingness and corn and tornadoes.Kath wrote:Nah. And getting a speeding ticket for going 3 mph over the speed limit when you know you didn't even do that because the car was on fucking cruise control. That too.
