If it was clan members they'd be out going door to door right now.

If it was critics of islam they'd be out going door to doo.... oh wait.

So it's downgraded to ''potential jihadis'' now? Still waiting for you to show that evidence of proven ISIS members are being allowed to roam free. Keep swinging, I'm sure Breitbart has ''evidence'' somewhere.....

23 000 "potential" seems ludicrously high or the definition of just who potentially would do terrorist attacks is quite off. But of course the numbers don't have to be high. Just to give an example, here (in my country) the police is following about 20 persons that have fought in Syria and have acknowledge that there are small networks that are very pro-ISIS, hence a terrorist attack is totally possible.

To give another example, the people that Timothy McVeigh hung around, those anti-government militia loonies, weren't many either. Yet if you would do estimate "potential" domestic terrorists in the US by defining those who have a deep resentment against the federal state and have guns, how big would that be?

The manchester bomber was one of them...

These aren't "potential" terrorists either. That's government spin to cover their asses. They are people who joined terror groups overseas.

Quotable.

It's just weaseling is what it is.

These are people who became unlawful combatants in a war.

Somebody who gets radicalized at home.. okay. You can argue they have civil rights and we should investigate them, but assume innocence.

Go and join ISIS or Al Nusra in North Africa or Syria? Fuck you. You deserve only what is afforded to unlawful combatants under Articles IV and V of the Geneva Convention. That is: military tribunal and basic POW rights. That's it.

The idea that people can go join your enemies, then return home like nothing happened.. that's fucking retarded and the three of you are retarded for even defending it.

Sorry, what am I defending? Oh, yeah the rule of law and the right to fair trial before being locked up and brutalised in a UK Gitmo.
And your position is? Oh yeah they went to Turkey lock them up don't bother with evidence we'll just assume guilt.

The rule of law is the Geneva Convention and the Laws of Armed Conflict.

These men are literally unlawful enemy combatants, Monty. The only thing they should be afforded is a military tribunal.

Monte, anyone crossing the Turkish border is clearly a terrorist. That's why we arrest business travelers when they try to come back from there. Pending an airport religious test, of course.

I'm all about arresting ISIS members but without evidence other than "visited Turkey" I think people need to take a step back and evaluate what they are proposing.

These fucking idiots post crap on Social Media all the time, wouldn't be hard to find actual evidence.
