one, his invasion of Ukraine has already failed, and his military is completely bogged down there
two, he vastly underestimated how harsh, total, and rapid onset the sanctions would be
so he has both an utter military catastrophe
and a total economic collapse
on his hands at the same time
and he doesn't have anybody who can advise him
because all he has around him is sycophants & cronies
