Yeah, and when we were good, we couldn't string a winning streak together. Bruins games are almost never sold out...they are the bastard child of the state I think... right behind soccer...Smitty-48 wrote:The Bruins have young guys coming, McAvoy, Pasternak, Debrusk, Fobacka-Karlsson, but they could definitely use a lottery pick at some point, Bergeron is getting old, and they don't have an Auston Matthews in the pipeline. Would have been a good year to tank actually, get Brady Tkachuk, the Bruins are kind of falling into the tweener trap, not good enough to win the cup anymore, not bad enough to get a franchise player in the draft
Minimum Wage just went up to $11.50 in Washington State. The price of milk is $2.68 a Gallon.

Good for Leaf fans then, we can drive to Boston to watch the Leafs in the playoffs.

I'd get on those tickets now... lol, North Station where it resides is a clusterfuck if you don't know where you are going.Smitty-48 wrote:Good for Leaf fans then, we can drive to Boston to watch the Leafs in the playoffs.

Actually, my wife can get Bruins tickets through her company, they have a reserve of Boston sports tickets for the executives, whatever we want, Bruins, Sox, even the Patriots.

Well they are getting old, but second in the league at 5-on-5 goal differential, behind only the Lightning, and way ahead of the third best team in that category, don't sleep on the Bruins this year.Smitty-48 wrote:The Bruins have young guys coming, McAvoy, Pasternak, Debrusk, Fobacka-Karlsson, but they could definitely use a lottery pick at some point, Bergeron is getting old, and they don't have an Auston Matthews in the pipeline. The Pens though, how can they be that bad? Worse than Buffalo FFS!

Leaf fans don't sleep on anybody, it's not like we are cocky at all, Babcock has quite a ways to go with this young team, before anybody round here gets cocky about them.StCapps wrote:Well they are getting old, but second in the league at 5-on-5 goal differential, don't sleep on the Bruins this year.Smitty-48 wrote:The Bruins have young guys coming, McAvoy, Pasternak, Debrusk, Fobacka-Karlsson, but they could definitely use a lottery pick at some point, Bergeron is getting old, and they don't have an Auston Matthews in the pipeline. Tampa's gonna win the Cup anyways, so there's no reason to go for broke right now.

Yeah whoever wins the Leafs-Bruins series is just going to get steamrolled in the second round anyway, it's true.Smitty-48 wrote:Leaf fans don't sleep on anybody, it's not like we are cocky at all, Babcock has quite a ways to go with this young team, before anybody round here gets cocky about them.StCapps wrote:Well they are getting old, but second in the league at 5-on-5 goal differential, don't sleep on the Bruins this year.Smitty-48 wrote:The Bruins have young guys coming, McAvoy, Pasternak, Debrusk, Fobacka-Karlsson, but they could definitely use a lottery pick at some point, Bergeron is getting old, and they don't have an Auston Matthews in the pipeline. My wife's a big hockey and football fan, but only if she is going to the game, she doesn't watch on tv, but she likes watching live, she goes to more Leaf games than I do, she takes her sister, me, I don't even want to go, it's more of a pain in the ass than it's worth, and I ain't paying $14 for a beer, I prefer to watch on tv.
