The full force of Presidential checks to power is being employed. Hell even Dan is talking about checks and balances in power in a way he hasn't in a decade. The intelligence community that couldn't discover much of any wrong doing by government agents in the last decade can suddenly find a conversation that crosses the line. The Corporate Media has a been on a full court press for 18 months, we have GOP party members breaking ranks.

I'm fine with all of this. If it took Trump to wake up these people that are checks and balances GREAT.

Like I said earlier, Trump is going to be forced to run the cleanest ADmin in modern history because the Establhisment is listening to every phone call and conversation. That's a good thing for the average citizen.

It's pretty clear to me that the Establishment feels they need to take Trump out before he can put in place his policies that he was elected to put in place. That's the panic we see, the unhinged left, the unhinged media. It's clear the Establishment sees Trump as a threat to their power.
It's a great zeitgeist, but what do you suppose is the White House reaction, when Congress passes a law taking away some part of his executive power?
Instant EO or veto, long legal battle, and whatever the issue du jour happens to be, goes on festering.

I am not optimistic. We appear to have a king now - whether the monarchy officially started with W, Obama, or Trump doesn't really matter now.
SJWs are a natural consequence of corporatism.

The story here isn't that Flynn resigned, it's what happened that led up to it.

KY, calm down. This doesn't mean the entire direction of Trump's presidency has changed.

Monte, that "clown" IS running the country. That non-so-clever clown outflanked both parties for months and got elected. Enjoy Flynn resigning while the rest of us enjoy the many and more significant changes to come.
One guy resigned and it's watergate all over again up in here. I think Smitty hit the whiskey way too hard last night.

A page ago you were holding your breath about the changes to come. Now you claim he can do whatever he wants. Just pick a personality and only let that one post here from now on.

Hey look if you can't work out the difference between beating a terrible opposition candidate in a popularity contest and running a complex, highly nuanced, national government I can't help you....
And before he beat the terrible opposition candidate he beat 16 other candidates. If the election is nothing more than a popularity contest, then the DNC was even dumber than Trump to hoist Hillary up there.

Enjoy it man, we are at a sorting our point in history for the US. The third such time this has happened in our history as a country. And we get a front row seat. :text-welcomewave:

It's an Embrace the Suck moment. We have a candidate sworn to put American first (according to his vision) against the Establishment that I think we all realize quite giving a shit about the average citizen a long time ago. We are watching our government at war with itself. As I posted in another thread, the last time we had this type of conflict was when FDR was elected and the Establishment Opposition flipped out so bad they went to Smedley Butler to lead a Coup. Isn't it a little ironic that we now see the calls for a military led coup again.

Embrace the Suck buddy. We're in for a historic Ride, keep yur Powder Dry :D
