Indeed, it's just porkbarreling for Sig, and in all fairness, Sig's are Made in the USA now, so not surprising, it's not that I don't like Sig, but for a general purpose sidearm, mass production, economy of scale, simplicity, reliability, durability, standardization, I'd probably go with Glock, bearing in mind that to get the US contract, Glock would have to make them in the US as well.Okeefenokee wrote:Spread it out. Everybody in NATO/NNMA should just quit scewing around and go 9x19mm Glock, keep it simple stupid.
At the end of the day, SIg has some value added features, but that also results in more moving parts and more training to use them effectively.
