looks like a company sized column, the Ukrainians hit the lead platoon

the Ukrainians appear to be using NLAW

the Ukrainians are on the left side of the road in the field behind the tree line

the Russians of course do it all wrong, instead of attacking into the ambush, they run away in a panic

notice how they jump out of their vehicles and take off on foot

because they know the vehicles are death traps against the NATO anti armor weapons

the Russian's are not up to date like that

what you see is what you get

the Russians are still stuck back in the 1980's

they only have a handful of drones

but it's more than that

this whole Russian operation is a fiasco,

they thought this was going to be a walkover,

so they didn't plan for a war, and they're not ready for one

that being said, it's not like a drone can spot ambushes as you are describing

you don't see troops hiding in the woods with drones neither,

a drone has a very narrow field of regard, it's not all seeing,

with a drone, you have to know where to point the camera, it doesn't spot things for you

this is going to keep escalating from here, for months to come

unless Putin sues for peace all of a sudden

this is going to be a global vortex

the Article V line has already been crossed, by NATO, going east

the Russians will widen the war into a conflagration as they raze the Ukrainian cities to the ground

Biden has not only run away from the Russians

he has abandoned Europe completely, America has evacuated for all intents and purposes

so the Europeans will escalate the war on their own, dragging America back in by default

being the Hegemon is not just about deterring Russia

it's about keeping the Europeans in check too,

since they can initiate a North Atlantic war all on their own
