Martin told me that another 200 or 300 trillion USD of imaginary money in the hopper will just make America's God even stronger. Just so long as the smart people get to use it first to secure all of our productive assets.Zlaxer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 6:45 am
No - they won't - Americans won't turn away from their God.
Middle class Americans will take their government cheese and praise the "kindness" and "empathy" of their progressive overloads.....Meekness begets enslavement...fuck it - most Americans deserve to be slaves...fucking proles..

Except "landowners" was another way of saying militia.Zlaxer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 6:50 amSpeaker to Animals wrote: ↑Tue Nov 20, 2018 6:47 amIt's not, though. The only thing demonstrable about democracy is that it always blows up in the same fashion.
The founders were correct in that landowners could govern themselves...they should have put better guards in though to stop Marxists...vote should never have been expanded to non-landowners....perhaps voting rights should have to be purchased (since we're no longer in an agrarianism society). Proles should simply not be allowed to vote.
Combine net tax payers with veteran status into the franchise, excluding everybody else, and you have the original intent. The founders knew democracy was a total shit show (most of them, anyway), and sought to drastically limit enfranchisement for good reason. The experiment failed. Now we are even extending votes to God damned illegal alien invaders. Democracy obviously does not work longterm.

Teachers don’t get 100K pensions - cops, management, and double-dippers do.

You’re sidestepping. You know as well as I do who’s getting most of the money, and it’s not the carpenters and laborers. The tristate area has always run on patronage with the lions share going to law enforcement, management, and corruption. When more people started demanding a share of the spoils, the system became unsustainable.
