The US is truly going down. Half of you trust Biden and the other half trust Putin.

What a clusterfuck.
Yep. I don’t think the rest of the world knows yet?

Reports of a highway shooter in Ohio today.
People said he was only shooting at pickup trucks and big rigs.

Cops got him, he's alive in critical condition.

Anti-Trucker Terrorist it sounds like.
I can’t copy the video from Facebook, but a driver going the other way has video of the cops gunning him down. He turned to draw on them in the middle of the highway.

Looks pretty diverse.

it's not just America

all the Western Elites practice the same method of warfare now

The Weaponization of Everything

everything is a platform, from McDonald's to Facebook

you weaponize those platforms to impose economic warfare

they are only applying soft power, although on such a vast scale that it becomes massive leverage

while not having any hard power to back that up, should the adversary suddenly come out swinging

so they have the tiger by the tail, classic case of

now again, a key feature of the NLAW is soft launch without back blast

that means you can shoot from anywhere

you can hide in a room, or a bunker, or just in some rubble

you can be concealed in cover, shooting at the armored vehicles in the streets

and because it's inside 600m, it doesn't miss

and because it's top attack, it kills all armored vehicles including main battle tanks

so the Russians can bombard Kyiv from a distance

but if they actually try to take it, roll into the city with their mechanized formations

it is very plausibly just a huge death trap for them, a massively large & complex kill zone

to conduct MOUT properly

your infantry have to take the buildings first

you don't bombard it, that just makes it harder to take, rubble is cover for the defenders

you send your troops into the buildings to clear them, room by room

once you clear the whole block, and have overwatch from the buildings on both sides of the street

only then can you bring your armor up, slowly, one cleared block at a time

the Russians have nowhere near enough troops for that

What if they just use thermobaric munitions on those dug in troops? Is there any way to counter that?

TOS-1A is overrated

thermobaric, but not ground penetrating

it doesn't penetrate hardened positions, it blows up not down

the Russians actually call it a "Flame Thrower" because it is primarily incendiary

it's actually an engineering vehicle, and its role is to clear minefields, not kill troops

it's one of those weapons that the media becomes fascinated with, but its bark is worse than its bite

thermobaric means heat & pressure

so it bursts to form a fuel aerosol cloud, then detonates the cloud of gas

it can be good as a bunker buster

but only if you bust the bunker first

the TOS-1A rockets are not bunker busting, they will just explode on top of the bunker, to no effect

the Russians have no wonder weapons which can solve this cities problem for them

America is much better armed, including thermobarics

but even America has to do this the old fashioned way

the Marines shave their mustaches off, then march in dismounted, and take the city room by room
