DACA are in university's, the Army, the Navy. They work, pay taxes. Presently there is no path to citenship for them so returning to country of their birth lessens us( AMERICANS) and puts their lives in peril.

Why should America tax payers be asked to foot their bill by allowing them to be eligible for government assistance when we have actual citizens below the poverty line? Why do you think its America's responsibility to provide for the worlds poor?

I mean, do you believe the American middle class has too much disposable income, I.e., that they can afford more taxes? Do you think the social system can take on wave after wave of illegal immigrants? Whats your plan to pay for everything?

No - I want him to answer as best he can. I want to know why they think middle America should pay subsidies for the citizens of other nations when the middle class is being obliterated.....or why our social programs should be used to subsidize the worlds poor? What is their justification? Why shouldn't Mexico be force to pay for the mistakes of Mexican citizens? Sucks for the DACA kids - but we didn't force their parents to bring them here.....it's not our job to fix their mess - nor can we afford to IMHO. I want to see the reasons From the Left has to support his position other than simple feelz....

@FTL - where's the money going to come from? If you say the 1% - fat chance, we all know that translates into taxes on the middle class....so then the questions becomes, why do you want to make life harder for the middle class to pay for subsidies for non-citizens? How is that fair or just to the middle class?

Why should the middle class be required to pay for all these forced re-locations! I am tired of tightening my belt in order to provide free transportation to people who were born somewhere else.

When Democrats found it easier to point a finger at another than how to solve an issue overall.

Sounds like you're ready to close down all the jails and let the inmates go free.
Which . . . given your usual cerebral insights, seems right on target.

I say close the prisons and send the illegals back to their country via airplane. Parachute optional.

What is law, man, except, like, a bunch of words anyway.

If our only concern is saving money... then, yeah, shut 'em down. Plus, then we will have more broken windows about to fix, which should please the Keynesian wall-fanatics right?

Leftist paradox #594
  • Statement 1: American Exceptionalism is nothing but a bunch of jingoistic, rah-rah, bullshit. There's nothing special about America.

Statement 2: You can't punish illegal immigrants who fled their oppressive homelands for seeking freedom and opportunity in America. Sending them back to their homelands would be akin to being an accessory to murder.

For progressives, America is the worst, oppressive, shit hole ever - until you're about to deport an illegal from it.
