Why should America tax payers be asked to foot their bill by allowing them to be eligible for government assistance when we have actual citizens below the poverty line? Why do you think its America's responsibility to provide for the worlds poor?

I mean, do you believe the American middle class has too much disposable income, I.e., that they can afford more taxes? Do you think the social system can take on wave after wave of illegal immigrants? Whats your plan to pay for everything?

No - I want him to answer as best he can. I want to know why they think middle America should pay subsidies for the citizens of other nations when the middle class is being obliterated.....or why our social programs should be used to subsidize the worlds poor? What is their justification? Why shouldn't Mexico be force to pay for the mistakes of Mexican citizens? Sucks for the DACA kids - but we didn't force their parents to bring them here.....it's not our job to fix their mess - nor can we afford to IMHO. @FTL - where's the money going to come from? If you say the 1% - fat chance, we all know that translates into taxes on the middle class....so then the questions becomes, why do you want to make life harder for the middle class to pay for subsidies for non-citizens? How is that fair or just to the middle class?

Statement 2: You can't punish illegal immigrants who fled their oppressive homelands for seeking freedom and opportunity in America. Sending them back to their homelands would be akin to being an accessory to murder.
