No, the British Crown is not a republic, a Soldier of the Crown only answers to the Commander-in-Chief
Weird . .. but apparently true.
So the Queen still has an army.
Canada's army.
Canada is so fucked up.

Canada is not the country, the Queen is the country, the Queen is the constitution.

We were not her employees, employees have labor rights, whereas we signed those away within the contract of unlimited liability unto death, personal fealty to the Commander-in-Chief, not in Ottawa, at Buckingham Palace where she lives.

We were mercenaries, serving the royal house which we chose to fight for, in classical British fashion.

How does Quebec feel about all that?
I suspect they have a different take on it.

And, as such, any government which imperiled the rule of the British Crown, Bolshies lets say, we could shoot them.

Any members of the public who moved against the British Crown, Bolshies lets say, we could shoot them too.

They have their own Brigade centered on their infantry regiment.

Which is the Royal 22nd Regiment of Canada.

There are no republican formations in a British army.

To include the Vandoos, the Queen herself is their Colonel-in-Chief.

I always found it interesting that seaman could be "pressed" into service, but not soldiers. They didn't just grab you off the street like they could a seaman.

StA, the vision of mankind reduced to one big "hunger game", killing each other for shits and giggles in a post-scarcity world, is pretty dark.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

But again, it's a British Foreign Legion, the Vandoos are mercenaries too.

Separation of powers, the King would raise and run a navy, the army however was raised and ran by the Dukes, to balance the power of the King. The Duke raised his own regiment from his lands and tenants, the navy is the King's business, he has more power to impress.
