This map is less than useless. Talk about lying with stats. 23 elections over almost 100 years is a small sample size and even then most of the states voted not democrat 20-26% of the time. That is like building a bridge and calling it solid cause it only collapses when every 4th car tries to cross it.
Wow you showed us.
Oh I know it's a small sample. It does however covers 14 states over 23 elections. Which can be useful if done carefully.
Actually 15%. Alright, it's the Kinda Solid South.
I think my points still stands.
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

The entire premise of the solid south myth is that the south voted along racist lines FOR the democrats as long as they were racists, and then voted FOR republicans when they magically decided to become racists.
We have shown you over and over that this is a childish myth that does not stand up to scrutiny, but you can't quit it.

It is not a myth. Racism was used by the Democratic Party and later by the Republican Party to gain the white vote and thereby win both nationally and most especially in the South. All I have been getting is this "The Solid South was never solid" not anything about how racism was used to get votes.
Although most of the country was racist on everyone throughout our history.

I'll clarify. The solid south as an element of the party switch is a myth. The south stopped being solid long before the supposed switch was supposed to have occurred. The dates and voting history do not support your myth.

Whaaaa?
We were having a debate on the theory of the Solid South which in part posits the solidity and the change from the Democratic to Republican Party due at least in part to racial issues during the 1960s.
The individual points are all debatable. The solidity, the switch, the timing, or the cause(s). So just how are the goal posts being moved?

They are all debatatable now? Earlier you compared it to Holocaust denial. If that is not goalpost moving then what the fuck kinda dishonesty is it?
