I am willing to speculate that if, instead of Milo, people dressed in black were rioting over a speech by Deray McKessen or Shaun ___ (can't remember, known as Taclom X), it would be a hate crime, and the police would not have made zero arrests during the riots.

It is not an easy mission. But it doesn't appear that they even tried to make any arrests. So, by the report, the BlackBloc Fascists are firing pyro at the cops, and they do nothing. They burn up a police light set/generator that costs tens of thousands of dollars, the injury people and they do nothing.

This is a chicken shit strategy that police like to use. Containment. It was used at Columbine and at the recent Orlando night club shooting...... containment increases the publics casualties and protects the police. In my view, the police's job is to aggressively act when citizens well being is in danger.
