I'm sorry, C-Mag, if I haven't been giving the case against Hillary a fair shake.

The reason is not that I think she should be immune from criminal prosecution (although the concept of prosecuting losing candidates of federal elections does creep me out a little).

It is precisely because Hillary isn't the executive that she is not relevant to the special counsel, which exists entirely because the executive is the DOJ's boss. That is, currently, a higher priority than an already disgraced failure like Hillary.

Now, if they manage to juice that corpse back to life for a 2020 bid, that metric will change, and I will be more interested in her bullshit.

The Comey firing caused the DOJ to be concerned that it had a compromised, pre-existing counterintelligence operation. They already suspected Russian interference, Trump knocking off FBI agents meant they had to insulate their counterintelligence operation from him. Thus, special COUNSEL (Fife ).

We don't know whether or not they have evidence that Trump is either a willing agent, or a unwitting tool, but the evidence that Russians have been working intel ops with Americans exists without either the FISA or the Steel dossier. Also, please don't take this as me saying Russia hijacked, or completely manipulated the election, the evidence that they were running a operation is not a statement in any way about the effectiveness of that operation. I find it incredibly unlikely that they had anywhere near the effect the Dems would like to believe they did.
HOWEVER, it was still a hostile operation by the Russians, and still warrants effective counterintelligence activities, which IS the remit of the FBI when it involves Americans.

I think that is the wrong way to look at it, though. The special counsel isn't 'investigating Trump.' It is investigating Russian intel operations in the US, and that investigation is finding that people close to Trump were in contact with Russian agents. As an American, Trump then falls under the umbrella of the FBI's Russia investigation, writ large.

I guess you are just ignorant about this, you need to do more reading and research, get yourself educated on the subject.

I don't want Trump to get away with anything. I want Equal Justice under the Law for everyone.

That means if you are in the FBI and you allow evidence to be destroyed or you don't you do your duty, you the FBI agent go to jail. Hillary is not responsible for the FBI F'ing up her case...……………… unless there was some sort of illegal bargain that took place.
