You've brought up my use of the phrase "extreme anti-capitalist measures" as if that sums up anything I'm asking about, when it's not.
And within the context of that discussion, I find you to be disingenous, was merely articulating why that is.
You're not even making sense anymore, the straw-man you're yelling at never existed. You called me out based on my agreeing with StCapps statement, but using words that bothered you, so now I'm disingenuous?

Most people consider tariffs to be anti-capitalist

Anyways, I thought it was a decent speech, and was certainly unique in some ways to the Republican orthodoxy.

It's the job of the private sector to solve problems for the private sector
It's the job of the state to set the stage for a thriving private sector that does not solve its problems at the expense of the citizenry.

Anyone seen a full video of the inauguration up yet? The wife was at work, so we're gonna watch it again later. I had to leave after the speech. Was the protesting and the rock throwing in the same feed?

Again, complete and utter balderdash, every capitalist country in the world has tariffs and always has; this is why I call you out for talking shit; it's the whole talking shit part, while pretending that you are just discussing, when it fact you are blatantly hacking away to beat the band. Unless you're just a total fucking idiot, so which is it?

I'm no apologist for the religious right, and I think Smitty is spot on here.

In general, those that lean left are very quick to decide that those to their right don't actually believe in all their righty wrong-think.

To them, no one could believe it, so it must be all pretend. How could anyone disagree with me?

StCapps is the one who said Trump was threatening increasing tariffs as a bluff.

Which is what drives the Religous to the GOP, and what's wrong with that? The GOP thanks the liberals, for their smug self satisfied stupidity, no doubt.
