It kind of needs to be done by psychologists. I think there is a lot more to it than simply filling out a form test on a webpage.

An indirect measure would be things like business success, completing STEM degrees at good universities..
You guys don't want to hear this, but Hash probably does have a pretty high IQ, given his accomplishments.
It's really what the left never wants to hear: success is generally correlated to higher IQ. That doesn't mean failure is necessarily low-IQ, but you are not going to become a founding partner in a leading law firm, for example, with an IQ of only 100. Sorry to burst your bubbles.
Like I showed before, average IQ of a CEO in a fortune 500 company is almost 130.
You will see similar rankings in medical research, actual scientific research, and so on.
Just guestimating here, but I suspect the average IQ of software engineers in major projects is around 110-120. This is why average IQ folks end up in IT roles. It's competitive out there and competition is driven by intellect. But plain old business coding is not competitive at all. There is a lot of that work going around, and not a lot wireless network code, comparatively speaking.

This just popped up on my suggested viewing that seems to be relevant to the discussion on IQ.

Re: President for Life
I saw that one too. JP often come back to IQ in his talks. The left hates talking about IQ. It goes straight against their nature vs nurture theories.Haumana wrote:This just popped up on my suggested viewing that seems to be relevant to the discussion on IQ.
IQ–which is innate, a strong predictor of socioeconomic success, and constant throughout life–is incompatible with the left’s vision of egalitarianism. Because IQ is so impervious to environment, much of the left’s costly efforts to boost achivement are futile. When the left says they want to boost academic achivement among under-performing groups, that is tantamount to making such groups smarter, which is impossible no matter how much money you throw at the problem (save for some small gains attributed to improved nutrition, as Peterson notes).
