Minimum Wage just went up to $11.50 in Washington State. The price of milk is $2.68 a Gallon.

Most people do like my neighbor, they just go there to work, but his house is still here, when he's out there, the company provides him with a housing allowance and he just rents a tiny apartment for one. His wife is here, I take care of all the man jobs for her, in his stead, then we he comes back, he brings me free meat, full beef tenderloins, my freezer is full of them.

Ah yes, another kick in the teeth for the supremely qualified but otherwise unable. C'est la vie...

Thing is, he's the general manager, he flies back and forth all the time on the companies dime, wouldn't be the same for the 2IC tho, the 2IC would be stuck there, except for vacation.

Only themselves to blame, for staying there.
Indeed.
Though I find it is en vogue now to pretend that the rest of America is on the hook for saving people from dynamic shifts in the economy.

There's actually a possibility that we could end up in Boston at some point, if my wife got promoted, that could be where she gets promoted to.

There's only one person above her here, if she got promoted above that guy, next stop is Boston Mass.
