interesting point. I'd have to think about it. I still think the US Army would eventually take over, but it could get ugly if those things exist.

Sorry, man. I know, "ain't so far away," can mean a lot of things, but I feel pretty confident that we aren't close to it at all. Remote controlled machines and AI are not the same thing. AI soldiers is something a long long ways away. AI burger flippers is something a long long way away.

It’s only along ways because of collateral risk.
No planes to jets with nukes in 50 years.
Less than 2 years into a Great War and our current war tech looks like wooden boats.
