Germans in charge of comedy is almost scarier than Germans in charge of Europe. It's like they were going for an intelligent Adam Sandler movie, still void of comedy, but at least the dumbest parts were taken out.

Haven't read the book though, maybe it's better. The concept is funny at least, but the execution was terrible.
Well that is why it cracks me up, I'm not so much laughing with the producers as I am laughing at them, one of those movies that is so bad, that it ends up being good.

What's awesome about the film is that it achieves the opposite of their intended effect.

The left does this a lot. Somebody should name it the Archie Bunker Effect.

Is that, like, a founding father or something?

Is this for real?
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!

http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/759 ... ants-Paris

youths have targeted 'rich' Chinese migrants amid growing tensions.

Police in France recorded more than 200 attacks on Chinese immigrants last year, mostly from hostile migrant gangs.

This comes amid a growing perception that recent migrants from North Africa have become "too demanding" and consider themselves "victims" who deserve pity.

Contrary to this, the long-standing Chinese community in Paris has gained a reputation for being "hard-working and managing without taxpayer help".
Looks like some things are the same on both sides of the pond....dam the Chinese and their yellow privilege....
