Perhaps you have a shortage of British Born docs because the Indian MDs are able to undercut them since their med school/cost of living is lower - in such a case, you're fucking your own citizens over by depressing their wages....It's just like what we do in the US with engineers and the H1B visas.....
Pay scales in the NHS are standardised across the board, you can't undercut a British born healthcare worker as an immigrant.
One of the major factors in the shortage of NHS employees is the fact that private healthcare pays better. The NHS trains the majority of doctors, nurses etc who work for the minimum amount of time set out in their contracts then jump ship to private medicine where they are better paid. Private healthcare companies don't have the expense of training and are able to use NHS trained workers who are tempted by the higher wages. This then leads to shortages and the need to employ foreign workers. These imported workers are not working for less money than British doctors, they are an absolute necessity to keep the NHS working. The NHS does not have the money to train more doctors so they look to foreign workers to fill vacancies. The NHS is subsidising private healthcare which only the rich have access to.
But you can undercut the education expense.

Nope, healthcare would collapse overnight without imported workers.
You are ignoring the facts to push your anti-immigrant agenda.

More doctors = more competition for positions = State can offer a lower wage and still fill all open positions.....How's does importing more doctors not lower wages again?

While lower MD wages may seem like a good thing - it allows the government to turn a blind eye to the raping of the middle class by the world elites because the proles are content enough to forgo the pitchforks....for now...

That means its an untenable system and needs to be overhauled

It should collapse (not that I want it to)....the system is unsustainable.....wages need to go up to increase medical costs so the proles feel enough pain to put pressure on the political class to un-fuck up the system....The longer this charade goes on, the more fucked up it becomes, and the more pain that will be felt when it does finally collapse...

Republics work when politicians work for their constituents.....keeping proles content with cheap goods and services removes needed political pressure to keep politicians from pandering to special interests. Importing cheap foreign workers is exacerbating this problem. Also, it removes pressure on the politicians in the home countries of the immigrants to un-fuck their own systems....which would make life better for the would-be immigrants...which in turn would reduce the number of immigrants...People on both sides of the fence are being fucked by the elites exploiting overpopulation.

Yeah sure, we could all pay more taxes and fix the NHS or we could abandon the NHS and give all our money to insurance companies instead and end up with the complete failure of a system you have for twice the cost.

You're not acknowledging the underlying issue...

The underlying issue is underfunding for the NHS. As little as 1% on income tax could properly fund the NHS but like Conservative governments the world over our leaders are only interested in tax cuts for the rich.
That and outright lies like this,
