If the hatred of the left is 95% about social and cultural BS, but you think some redistribution of wealth, or economic controls to minimize the wealth gap, are needed for a healthy long term economy, I could agree with a lot of your points.

Whipping up hatred against the Left is simply a counterattack in the face of the Left whipping up hatred against the Right, a very rational means to an end, to defend the commons from a Commune. It's just a question of we on the Right being much better at this game than the Left are, so the Leftists ceaselessly whine about us taking them into the boards and driving them through the glass when we finish our checks; too bad, so sad.

I agree on the strategy, the culture war isn't one sided, and "family values" isn't going to cut it anymore, that strategy lost. Going after the worst and most annoying of the left is always a tried and true method, remember when the eco-loonies would chain themselves to trees?

Now, I'm not a lefty per-se, in regards to the culture war, but I'm not sure what wins there are to be had, in terms of rules and laws. Trump's election is obviously a huge win in this sense, but I'm not sure what changes you, or others, would want him to make... Religious freedom to discriminate? Gay marriage? College Title IX changes?

I mean, I'd love for some serious 1st amendment reinforcement, so I'm all ears.

If there's a better way for me to describe anti-globalization policies and regulations, let me know. I don't see how anti-globalization is not anti-capitalism in today's economy. I understand there's a lot of the economy that isn't multi-national, so the 2 are not equivalent.

Orly? I actually think the culture war was very effective at bringing the liberals to heel and forcing them to jettison their left wing in the process, the Left in America has been virtually wiped off the map by the culture wars.
