Today is one of those days I feel defeated. Freedom as we knew it our whole lives is gone, we're just in the stage where the brain hasn't accepted that the body is dead. They WILL come for guns, it's just a matter of getting everything else in place to avoid a true civil war. We will end up like Australia, and who knows how far down the Nazi path they will continue down.

I may need to step away from news altogether. I already avoid MSM, but any story nowadays is depressing. I am so tired of seeing "so and so calls out X" and "so and so gets blasted for Y". Pointing out the daily hypocrisies and absurdities has changed nothing. It's all talk. All theater. Nothing is being done to resist or fight back against the theft of our freedoms. What's really sad is how many people seem to be enjoying this path. I am quickly losing faith in humans as a group.

The masses are obsessed with Gabi Petito on Tick Tok. That is their current events focus. They feel the slow boil of inflation, but forget bout it as soon as they plug back in.

I don't see us pulling out of this anytime soon. It will get much worse before there is even a chance of it getting better.
