Re: North Korea News
It's at the point now where there's not even any solution that doesn't involve plenty of death. That's the cost of appeasement.

So negotiation equals appeasement in monochrome world?
This from the supporters of "no more foreign wars"
I get that you were late for the last two world wars but that's no reason for you to start the next one.
Go back to isolationism , I promise I won't call it appeasement.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

What do you think we have been doing for the past twenty years?

Starting wars for oil in the middle East to fuel the MIC?

Is that the reasoning you use to remain willfully blind to what is plainly and empyrically obvious?
“Negotiation”?
I mean, clearly you have some sort of internal defense mechanism that protects your ideology from the actual results it produces. I’m just asking if that weak reasoning you cited above is the mechanism - because that’s pretty flimsy.

You are attempting to deflect, which is bullshit. What do you think we have been doing with North Korea for the past twenty years if that's not negotiating a compromise? They lie to get concessions and then continue to build fusion bombs anyway. What exactly do you think you will accomplish with appeasement of people like that?

Just for clarity, complaining about a country's culture of cow bells is rude but bombing a country back to the stone age because you don't like the way they govern themselves is OK.DBTrek wrote:Is that the reasoning you use to remain willfully blind to what is plainly and empyrically obvious?

Exactly how many countries has NK invaded in the last 65 years?
If the US didn't have such a love of invading other countries I doubt they would have felt the need to become such a militarised nation.

Because maintaining domestic cowbells is the same thing as aiming a nuclear ICBM at another nation.Montegriffo wrote:

I see your observation and reasoning skills are consistently sub-par, which I suppose aids your belief that your disastrous ideas are not to blame for their disastrous results.
It all starts coming together.

Re: North Korea News
Why do you think NK has persued nuclear weapons technology? Could it be that it is the only way to avoid being invaded by the US?
NK is not going to fire it's missiles at you unless you fire first. They just know that you have no choice but to leave them alone now.
If they want to make peace with SK for the duration of the Olympics I fail to see how that is a bad thing.
