Lots of populist vibes. Quite the anti-establishment, and anti-capitalist themes for the first half. Makes me wonder how all the Trump supporters who decry the left, liberals, and Marx feel about a Republican saying:
we are transferring power from Washington, D.C. and giving it back to you, the people.

For too long, a small group in our nation's capital has reaped the rewards of government while the people have borne the cost. Washington flourished, but the people did not share in its wealth. Politicians prospered, but the jobs left and the factories closed. The establishment protected itself, but not the citizens of our country. Their victories have not been your victories. Their triumphs have not been your triumphs. And while they celebrated in our nation's capital, there was little to celebrate for struggling families all across our land.

...

What truly matters is not which party controls our government, but whether our government is controlled by the people.

January 20th, 2017 will be remembered as the day the people became the rulers of this nation again.

...

For many decades, we've enriched foreign industry at the expense of American industry

And spent trillions and trillions of dollars overseas while America's infrastructure has fallen into disrepair and decay. We've made other countries rich, while the wealth, strength and confidence of our country has dissipated over the horizon.

One by one, the factories shuttered and left our shores, with not even a thought about the millions and millions of American workers that were left behind. The wealth of our middle class has been ripped from their homes and then redistributed all across the world.
Nothing Trump said is Marxist, there's no dialectic between the proletariat and capitalism therein, what Trump is invoking is not Marxism, but rather Nationalism, practically the antithesis of Marxism in fact. America First; is hardly Marxism, I mean, get real.

Now, as a foreigner, you might think that I would have qualms about Trump saying "America First", but in fact, as a Loyalist British North American, I do not, as when America prospers, we shall prosper as well, does us no favours, for America to not take care of itself, by all means, take care of America first, and the rest will take care of itself, I'm happy to take my dividends in US dollars, no problemo, let freedom ring.

Yes, Nationalism is what he said.

I like the line..."When you open your heart to patriotism, there is no room for prejudice".

Put's liberals in a tight spot.

Liberal - "We have to treat them different because they are different"

Trump - "Aren't they just Americans like the rest of us?"

The Sun God rises...

Let's see what he delivers.

I agree with Smitty... we all benefit if America actually solves its problems.

May the swamp be drained and may the harvest be bountiful.

Damn, it feels like we've missed the window on Bloody Marys. Oh well, who's got the tequila? American made, por favor.
I already got my bottle, and about a dozen shots waiting for me at home... in celebration :)

They don't even need to solve all their problems, they just need to get the economy going, get some heat back into that economy, and the rest will take care of itself, other than the liberals screaming Nuclear Hitler the whole time that is, but just ignore those idiots.

Overall, I didn't like the speech. Kinda took a dump right on Barry's lawn with his kids watching.

The old Ron Paul me would have been immediately turned off by the patriotic bravado. The new me, the post-Libertarian me, is like, at least I bought a hat to wear to the military parades...
