I almost forgot about this one. The EEC that Great Britain joined is not the same thing as the EU. I can't speak for Thatcher so I will let her do it for herself.

I am drunk on leftist tears. Their polls told them this would happen but they are still losing their goddamn minds. And they still are going to have that undeserved feeling of intellectual superiority. They had this whole narravtive that they would vote strategically but the leave voter would be too stupid to figure it out. Then when that falls through and realize the 20 something blue haired barista with a gender studies degree might not be smarter than the 50 year old father of 3 who is a coal miner they will whine about the process they just tried to game. I'm not pleased with the result of this election at all. I would have preferred a win for labor. Sure labor sucks. People should not put faith in conservative parties however
