Either you don't know much about Lincoln or you don't understand the definition of narcissism.
He was a politician who wanted the top job in the country because he thought he could do better than anyone else. Whether he was right or not, and his intentions were good do not matter, that's narcissism incarnate. No POTUS qualifies.
That's not narcissism.

If he didn't love himself excessively he couldn't have succeeded in politics at that level. He admired himself enough to think he was better than everyone else running for POTUS who also happened to be narcissists who admired themselves enough to think they were better than everyone else. That's pretty damn narcissistic.

Again, that's not narcissism.

Well whatever that is, no president has never not been that then. I'll use another label if you have any suggestions that are better than narcissist.
The point I was making is that very few presidents aren't narcissists, so claims that a POTUS is a narcissist almost wrings as hollow as claims that a POTUS is a liar, but not quite. Yawnville,

Lincoln a narcissist? That's crazy talk, bro. He was the polar opposite, the greatest altruist in the history of the republic. This is why he is the patron saint of America, but he had no idea it would turn out that way. He didn't try to make himself into that, quite the opposite, that came about retrospectively, long after his death.

He is appealing to his base and pivoting. Having his cake and eating it too. Patriotism is the cure for Prejudice, if you buy the narrative that his speech was dark and only appealed to his base then you are brainwashed by the mainstream media.
I am not brainwashed - I WATCHED THE FUCKING SPEECH MYSELF.
I didn't watch much of any commentary on it, I formed my own, valid opinion, as a free-thinking citizen. The fact that you want to dismiss any criticism of the man as 'brainwashed' is COMPLETELY indicative of your own brainwashing. Look in the fucking mirror, you clown.

The other term for it is
mentally stable.
People who have low self-worth, which includes narcissists by the way, are not mentally healthy.

Since when are altruist and narcissist antonyms?

Still waiting for a better term than narcissist to describe what I am talking about or I am not going to use a different term to describe it. I am open to suggestions but if none come, I'll stick to my guns.
You got a better word that more accurately describes what I am talking about than narcissist? I'm all ears.....

There's no true antonym to narcissist, but Lincoln was the greatest altruist in the history of the republic, who was not in any way a narcissist, you basically render narcissist a meaningless word if you assert that Abraham Lincoln was a narcissist, if Abraham Lincoln was a narcissist, then narcissist doesn't mean anything, because it simply becomes theatre of the absurd.
To wit, if Lincoln was a narcissist, then everybody is a narcissist, and so nobody is a narcissist.
