Chinese Military Headed toward North Korean Border
According to a computer translation of the Korean-language Daily NK, military trucks have been moving into position at night so as not to attract the attention of locals.

Based on the source, the lack of a reliable source to corroborate, not the mention the story just sounds like made up bullshit.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Based on what, exactly?Smitty-48 wrote:The source for that story is Zerohedge, you're just regurgitating the same idiotic clickbait that Grumpy posts from Zerohedge, reposted by another idiotic clickbait siteC-Mag wrote:First Report I've seen, not verified by other sources at this time

For example, this here;
Bullshit. Show me the source in the Chinese media, who said that, in what context, when? I can't find any evidence of this whatsoever, the only source is Zerohedge, it's just clickbait churn.Sources in the Chinese media have said that the PLA is “preparing for war on the Korean Peninsula”
War on the Korean Peninsula would be a massive operation, Chinese preparations for war on the Korean Peninsula would be theater wide, a few trucks driving around is not preparations for war on the Korean Peninsula, and there's no reliable source to indicate that that is even happening.

As concern mounts that North Korea will use a national commemoration on Saturday to conduct its sixth nuclear test, claims the Chinese army has amassed 150,000 troops including medical teams on the border with North Korea have been repeated on the front page of China's state-owned Global Times newspaper.

The Global TImes is apparently also clickbait churning, they are reporting on reports, which have no corroborated source, and the Chinese government tells the Sydney Morning Herald they're not aware of it?China's foreign ministry spokeswoman on Monday said she was "not aware" of the South Korean reports of a Chinese troop build-up.
But the Global Times said the reports were being widely circulated, and cited South Korean diplomats as saying that while the claims may be slightly exaggerated, it was true that military drills were conducted in the border area.

Chinese government denies report.
Sabers are rattled without actually building up troops. These guys are good.

The state owned newspaper reported that the "reports were being widely circulated", they didn't say it was true.

Probably a test balloon to gauge public reaction. Perhaps de-sensitize and cast doubt on future troop movements.Smitty-48 wrote:GrumpyCatFace wrote:Chinese government puts a report in state-owned newspaper, stating that Chinese government is building up troops.Smitty-48 wrote:
