There was a pretty high turnout this year in NH, almost as many as 2008. That could be a sign of enthusiasm but it could also mean a lot of independents wanting to interfere since NH is semi-open. Iowa had a low turnout.

In 2016 Bernie got 15 vs Hillary's 9 delegates.
This time he got 9, Mayor Cheat got 9 and Amy Klobuchar!! got 6.

I'm not feeling the Bern.

There’s nothing stopping a crazy leftist being the DNC candidate and riding populism to the top - We could have an honest to God commie as POTUS.

Even if you think the independents will shy away - there’s a very substantial chance that could happen. Chavez is about to be on the ballot...think about that...

He wins - we get a commie on SCOTUS....

There is no chance. He could win the Dem nomination because there is no one to stop him, but he has no chance against Trump.

Pretty much. European style Socialist welfare state or American Liberty. Settle it. That is the election you deserve.

We've seen this election before, in 1972, and it didn't go well for the European Style Socialist Welfare State candidate. The Democrats can't win elections where they are that far out on the left, they never have.

It's a cycle. You will have it cropping up every time you have some kind of vocal hippie movement with a huge cultural impact that convinces enough people that they are in the majority just because they shout the loudest. The silent majority will reset them at the voting booth.

Indeed, it's a cycle, and the cycle has come back around to where it was in 1972. We've seen this movie before.

Biden be toast. Buttigieg is only one who can stop Sanders now, and only if he starts appealing to black voters real fucking quick.
