Any “chemical attack” in Syria is going to be a False Flag fanned by Israel.

We just had the top of the DoJ and FBI attempt a coup of the president of the U.S. Our news is made-up bullshit. Why would the only “true” thing be a ridiculous poison gas attack?
Never had you down as a conspiracy theorist.

Street fighting is costly in Russian/Syrian lives. Why risk it when you can drop chemical weapons and call it a false flag?

Is Trump going to believe the Russians over his own IC again? Will we see another embarrassing climb down from him or has he learnt from his previous mistakes?
Hell, convince ME first! Convince my neighbors. Convince the teachers picketing down the street. How is it only foreigners and Neocons believe that shit? Get your own governments to go to war if everyone in Britain or Sweden thinks Assad is dropping barrel bombs.
So your reluctance to believe Assad is attacking his own people with chemical weapons is based on not wanting the US to be more involved in Syria rather than any evidence of what has happened ?
Got it...
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

That's also a valid viewpoint. Why should we care whatsoever if he did? We've already got 2-5 wars going, that's enough to keep the MIC fed.

??? R U saying that WHEN (not IF) there is a poison gas attack in Syria, Assad did it?

With a high degree of probablity, yes. You do remember he, unlike Saddam, actually had chemical weapons stockpiles? Oh, and he has planes.

I've been down this rabbit hole before.
1) Why the fuck does the U.S. care if there's "poison gas" or "barrel bombs" but don't give a shit about drones shooting up weddings?

Not saying you should, at all. That's the difference between knowing your media wants to manipulate you into supporting the toppling of Assad, versus media simply reporting on an ongoing news story. The facts are the same, but how it's presented... that's where the manipulation is.

2) Assad (and Russia) can win without gas attacks.

They can. And I don't think Russia would use, or would want Assad to use gas... unless it means winning the battle faster. But if he had objections to using chemical weapons, he'd have destroyed those stockpiles himself long before the civil war started, without international urging.

3) Where is this poison gas hidden?

I know that about as much as I know where their regular armaments are hidden. You think the Assad regime freely allow journalists into see their arsenal? Nah. They were supposed to have destroyed their chemical weapons around the time the civil war started... but the inspectors were trying to get to all those different stockpiles in the middle of a civil war.

4) Israel wants the U.S. to go to war with Syria, and this has all the earmarks of Israeli manipulation. What? You think I can't recognize when America is being manipulated?

The US branded Syria as a bad guy in the 70's or 80's, I think. But yeah, Israel would stand to gain the most from Syria being either regime-changed, or severely destabilized.

I watch RT with Chris Hedges, does that mean I'm being manipulated by Russia? Yes. My god, RT is more reliable than any American news channel. No.

He didn't do it.

Shit was obviously fake from the start.

Nobody is going to walk up and start handing victims of nerve gas attack with their bare hands.

I guess in a thread titled "Russia! Russia!! Russia!!!" Trump-haters take whatever side Trump is not on.

It's been established that the FBI had more collusion with Russia than Trump. It's been established that the DoJ had more collusion with Russia than Trump. It's been established that the DNC had more collusion with Russia than Trump. It's been established that there's an internal Deep State coup brewing.

Yet none of those topics get discussed; instead we're on regime change in Syria because all the other things fell through.

A news story about a civil war ≠ Manipulation to get you to "do" something about it.

Why should accepting the fact that Assad dropped barrel bombs mean we'd want to go to war? You seem to assume that the only reason anyone would, or would want, to report on world news, all has to do with wanting to go war?

When I read a story about Ethiopia fighting Somalia, I don't think: "Gee, this story is in the news... that must mean we must go to war to help either Ethiopia or Somalia." Nor is that the reason media everywhere in the world report on world events.

Seriously, Martin. When you read about a problem somewhere in the world, don't always assume that the author is making you aware of it because they want you, or your country to deal with it.
