It's a process, he's not anywhere near the best player on the team right now, best players are complete players, reliable on both sides of the puck and able to mix it up inside, which Nylander is a long way from being right now, work in progress, stick to the program, he'll get more icetime as he executes on both sides of the puck more.

That seemed like a good plan, but it's not working out, time to change up Smits, and you know it. Dial up both Marner and Nylander's ice time and dial down Komarov and Bozak, small tweak, no need to go overboard.

No, don't panic and deviate from the process, that's how the old Leafs rolled, the new Leafs need to just stick with the program and follow through, they hired Babcock, let him do his job, listening to the peanut gallery is Harold Ballardville.

It's not panicking, it's a small tweak, to reinforce the process.

Bahaha, that's what the Ducks get for signing and playing Beauchemin, so old, so slow, so shit.

There's been plenty of tweaking, Komarov down to the 4th line, Marner up with Kadri, Brown to the 3rd line, Martin out, Kapanen in, Borgman out, Dermott in, and the team is 4-1 since the tweak, so no problemo.

7-4 Leafs, 5-1 since the tweak, what's the problemo again?

So they already started playing Komarov less and it's helping? Who could have foreseen that turn of events..... it turns out playing shitty players less is beneficial, who knew?

Now all they got to do is start playing Bozak a touch less, play Marner and Nylander just a little bit more and it will probably go even better. You wanna play a two way guy to teach how play more, give that extra ice time to Marleau, not Komarov or Bozak.

Matthews, Marner and Nylander are getting plenty of icetime, kids not getting enough icetime is fake news.

The Babcock system is a four line team, they're not going anywhere being a top heavy dipsy doodle team, until a better grinder comes available, Komarov is fine on the fourth line and killing penalties.

Not fake news, they get played less than most forwards of that caliber, don't snow. Marner doesn't even get 16:00 mins a night, and Matthews doesn't even get 19:00 a night, they are less underplayed than most people suggest, but there is a big kernel of truth there, don't be silly because some folks are embellishing.
