Like I said, I don't think the beginning and end times represent the span you can view with the naked eye. It's more like the time span of the main event, a smaller segment of which you can look at it without the glasses. That said, even if it were only 5 seconds it would be worthwhile.

I had something like 1 minute 10 seconds of totality according to that site, but it was for only about 20 seconds I could actually see it without the glasses.

That shit was crazy.

There is no comparing anything with what happens when the shadow actually passes over you.

I actually feel sorry for people who missed it.
