I want you to stay Kath. I appreciate talking with you.Kath wrote:Well, this is likely my last hoorah. I'm checking out, soon. The cognitive dissonance here is nauseating.C-Mag wrote:
Let me say this Kath, I sympathize with you and admire you standing against the tide. I've done it before, kind of sucks.
Trump lies and you guys call it winning. How can I stick around for that type of cult like following of this man? Just, please, when he asks you to literally drink the kool-aid, don't do it. Seriously. (Also, a comet will not be coming by to pick you up and that man claiming to be Jesus probably isn't.)
This is the man that is telling you the only valid news source are Brietbart & Alex Jones. Think about that.
Years ago when Palin came on the scene I argued forever, against the entire board about Palin. I tried to get people to understand that Palin herself as a person and politician weren't, "it". But there was something in her message about taking on the establishment, etc. that we needed to pay attention to.
If you are going I do want to leave you with this on Trump.
1. We are going to pay some price for Trump unconventional messaging, that you probably see as wild, irresponsible lies.
2. This is Disruptive Marketing, he is shaking up the system to change the conversation. Just because it's different and shocking doesn't mean it is not necessary to cut through the clutter.
3. We don't know if Trump is Dangerous, and Trump has been treated completely unfair by the Corporate Media and the Establishment. Which pisses me off.
4. As to point 3, myself and a lot of other people see what's happening to Trump and empathize with him, because that's how they feel the system has treated them to some extent.
