Trump has been quietly gaining support of key Establishment people. The resistance is failing.

Swamp Creature powerbrokers like Lindsey Graham and Mitch McConnel, no longer under the influence of the Senator not to be named, are now openly and actively supporting Trump. You also see heads of Federal Agencies, once reluctant to back up the POTUS, come right out and push back against criticism of the POTUS. You see this with ICE, the State Department and most recently FEMA with the Puerto Rico dust up. And now the Fed has become MAGA in the words of Dons Surber.

Trump against all odds is starting to win over the Swamp. I have reservations about what that means in the long run, but no doubt it is happening.

When an enemy realizes they are beaten or are in the process of getting on the wrong side of history, they will attempt to get on your good side.

Trump is willing to "play" with the swamp because they realize he has the political capital to burn, and they are on their last gasp, the desperation of The South... sorry... the Democrats are palatable. The SJW , the Antifa, and other "fringe" groups are losing their grasp on the Democrat party. The only group that still believes they have strength are the educators.

If Trump is going to take care of that, we may see something like what Reagan did with the Air Traffic Controllers. Which if that happens, I expect it will during the 2nd term.

Actually, SWA is right. 9–10 March 1945 over 100K people were killed in one bombing, to over a million injured (conservative numbers) by the total fire-bombings in Japan.

the nukes killed/injured about 160k - 320k people... over a six month period.
