I'm simply asking what policies the Nazis instituted that you consider to be socialist. Not a video from a guy who can't figure out green screens (though I did watch it and it was somewhat informative).

If you want to argue that the democrats are fascist, then I'm not going to argue that point. But to say the republicans aren't also fascist by the same standard, ignores what is going on in this country.

Despite all their claims of small government, the republicans have consistently advocated for the surveillance state, have consistently increased the the executive branch's power, have consistently advocated for the obscuring of documents, hiding the truth from the people for the benefit of the state. All of these things are in line with fascism as defined in the provided video. Now, before someone calls me a hack, I'll point out that the democrats are guilty of all of these same things. Which goes back to one of my previous points that both parties are one in the same.

But back to the original question, which wasn't about democrats or republicans or if Fascism is the exclusive purview of the left or the right, but what actions did the Nazis take that make them socialist (not fascist). I'm not saying they can't be socialist, or even both. I'm just asking for a list of policies implemented by Hitler, that make him socialist, or at least more socialist than previous leaders in Germany and the rest of Europe.

We’ve had this “were Nazis Socialist” discussion a couple times now.
Hitler took industry from private citizens and gave it to his cronies for the common good.
Their credo was “best interest of The State.”
They weren’t Marxist, they believed in meritocracy, but they did intend to force their version of Globalism on the world.

Well taking from people and giving it to your cronies definitely doesn't seem to be a meritocracy, or socialism for that matter. Sounds a lot more like despotism.

But whatever, if you don't feel like discussing it, I'm cool with that. It's not as if there is much that can be learned from studying Nazism's particular form of governance. I think it is pretty clear that it was based on the whims of one man, and he likely didn't concern himself with much other than if a particular policy would help in the coming war effort.

Same could be said about the USSR, for sure.

Granted. Fascist Italy was a better example. It’s the “we know what is best for everyone” canard that gives socialism away.

You don't go from an economy in the toilet to a world conquering war machine without at least a little nationalization of wealth and vigorous central planning.

I'm not sure there was a realistic market based solution to needing a wheelbarrow full of marks to buy bread for the Germans.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.
