Fuck the impasse, Cale Makar is far more interesting.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 21, 2019 10:39 pmFair enough, but I'll stay up and keep you company so long as we don't have to talk about this impasse.
Impasse means it can only be resolved by force.
Demographic force.
Either the senate will vote Trump out, or they won't
Either he will be voted out in the election, or he wont.
There's no point in talking to a wall in the meantime, talking to a wall is a sign of mental illness.
Nobody is changing their positions, they could just copy and paste these talking points without having to type,

The only reason this has gotten as far as it has is because Democrats demanded impeachment the day Trump was elected. Russia, Russia, Russia blew up in the faces, so given the election is fast approaching they had to reach for something, anything to use as an excuse. Unfortunately for Democrats this is even weaker than Russia. They look like fools, but the Dem politicians and their MSM allies are doing all they can to try and convince American voters that this turd they cooked up is chocolate cake. This is nothing more than a 2020 campaign stunt.

That is simply not true, especially when it is framed as bribery. Any refutation is simply a "no true scotsman" argument. Even Fox News senior judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano said that President Donald Trump had "arguably walked into the area of bribery" with his actions toward Ukraine, pointing out that it appears to be "an impeachable offense." So now he's a Leftist Tool too?

The Democratic center really did not want this, knowing it would simply unite the right. Pelosi didn't, I certainly didn't. But Trump went beyond the pale, to where not investigating was abdicating legal responsibility.
