There is some truth in what Grumpy says, I don't buy into a massive market correction wherein everything simply disappears into a black hole, even in the Great Depression, there was a bounce, none the less, the correction in of itself, did take everybody's "401K's" down with it, and in the event of, things got pretty ugly, they managed to keep it on the rails, but only just, they were in fact fliriting with a Junta, and only FDR kept that at bay.

Who is FDR now? And more importantly, even if you had FDR, what could he really get passed, in this day n' age? Could you get a New Deal passed, in the age of internet trolls? Yeah, good luck with that.
